Best ways to shelter Work Stations from rain in LEGO Fortnite

Seek shelter!

LEGO Fortnite’s main form of crafting will come down to stations players can build, and there are a ton of them. However, rain can interfere with your crafting needs, and we’re going to run over how players will be able to prevent this from happening in LEGO Fortnite.

Can you make it stop raining in LEGO Fortnite?

Work stations such as crafting benches, lumber mills, and juicers are going to be necessary for advancing your village level throughout LEGO Fortnite, and it’s going to be pivotal. However, players have quickly noticed that during the night, it’ll often rain from time to time, and therefore, players will not be able to interact with their crafting benches, as the game will prompt you with ‘this cannot be used in the rain.’

So, this can be rather annoying, especially for how frequently it rains, and for a mechanic that stops players from doing anything, you’re going to want a workaround. While you cannot stop the rain cycle in LEGO Fortnite, we’ve found that placing these work stations inside completed houses/structures is often the best method.

While it isn’t perfect, sometimes it’ll still allow you to use these stations, even if it is raining outside, but other times, it’ll deny you access to them.

This appears to be a bug — if these structures are inside buildings, you’d think they’d be sheltered from the conditions outside, but we haven’t heard anything from Epic for the time being.

Stay tuned, as there could be settings added soon that allow players to turn off the rain cycle in LEGO Fortnite. However, give this a try and see if the work stations inside shelters are going to work for you!
