In LEGO Fortnite, getting hungry is a constant struggle. Having to always source food gets in the way of doing all the fun things you want to do instead.
To limit the amount of time you have to spend getting food, I’ve listed the best ways of getting food that’ll keep you stocked for a while.
How to never get Hungry in LEGO Fortnite
Below are two tricks I like to use to keep my food stocks full in LEGO Fortnite. I use these whenever I’m running low to create a huge supply that lasts me quite a while, so I can get on with whatever it is I’d rather be doing.
Feeding animals
AndromedaDream on Reddit shared a trick that allows you to get rid of excess vines in return for excessive eggs. In LEGO Fortnite, you can feed animals to receive their produce, as you would by petting them.
If you have a ridiculous amount of vines lying around due to pumpkin harvesting or bush destruction, you can feed them in stacks to chickens and get rewarded with eggs. Naturally, this requires you to stockpile a lot of vines, but the payoff is pretty decent.
Chickens won’t drop an egg for every piece of food, and you won’t get more feeding it to them one vine at a time. Just gather a few stacks of vines that you’ve accumulated from your travels, and safely upgrade them to a whole bunch of eggs that you can quickly cook.
It’s quick, it’s easy and gets rid of all those vines that tend to clog up chests and inventories.

Putting the village to work
The better method of making easy food is by putting the village to work. When you start upgrading your village, you will be able to order your villagers to help out. At level four, your village will have access to jobs that revolve around the production of food.
You can assign a villager to tend to the garden patches, to keep them running and collect the produce. You can also assign a villager to cook for you. Both of these tasks will allow you to get your villages to produce loads of food for you, which will keep your tummy lined for a long while.
The passive food income from your villagers with the bursts of food from feeding the chickens means you’ll never run low on food again.
