Best ways to farm for Scrap in Remnant 2

Best ways to farm Scrap in Remnant 2

The go to currency of the future.

Like any RPG, Remnant 2 has a number of materials you’re going to need to collect. These resources will allow you to upgrade and purchase many new items within the game to make your life just that little bit easier. Remnant 2 doesn’t take it easy on you, though; the souls-like gameplay is going to have you sweating even on the easier encounters. One of the most important resources you will need to farm in Remnant 2 is Scrap. This generic term basically equates to currency and will get you all the shiny new weapons you want.

Some quick and easy methods for Scrap Farming in Remnant 2

Scrap doesn’t come easy in Remnant 2. Like most resources, it is scarce and will take some work to farm. Even the most simple weapons are going to set you back quite a few Scrap. Additionally, upgrades will set you back even further. Thankfully, there are a few techniques and tips you can try to load up on this valuable resource.

Defeat the Remnant 2 bosses

By far, the most lucrative method for earning a pocketful of Scrap is by defeating the world bosses. Of course, in the main campaign, once you have defeated a boss, they are over. However, with the new addition of Adventure Mode in Remnant 2, you can now get your teeth into the same bosses over again.

The new mode allows you to use a totally different save and work your way through the worlds again, this time with new layouts and more chances to find the missing items. Running through worlds again is one of the best methods for getting Scrap in Remnant 2.

Killing grunts for Scrap

Kill ‘em, Kill ‘em all. As tempting as I know it can be to shy away from the hordes of enemies at times, they are a great way to harvest resources. It is possible to get a ton of Scrap simply by wading through the basic-level bad guys in Remnant 2.

There are a few points in the game that are great for farming enemies. These area’s are close to spawning points, so you simply need to kill them off, return to the checkpoint, or use your Liquid Escape and repeat.

  • Root Earth – Corrupted Harbor
  • Yaesha – Forbidden Grove: Blood Moon Events – Blood Moon Essence sells for 125 Scrap

Selling your wares

Of course, one of the easiest ways to get Scrap in Remnant 2 is by selling all your unwanted junk back at base. You can really farm the Scrap if you have a lot of unwanted gear in your inventory. Lumite Crystals are always welcome at any vendor.

Use Items

There are items in the game that will give you certain buffs, including XP, pickups, and of course, Scrap. If you’re looking to farm Scrap in Remnant 2, make sure you have these items equipped.

  • Scavengers Bauble – Increase your scrap collection by 50% and automatically pick up resources around you. A random drop found in Yaesha – The Far Woods, The Twisted Chantry, The Forbidden Grove, or The Withering Weald.
  • Vacuum Seal Ring – Automatically picks up resources on a wide range. This is a random drop in  N’Erud – Tower of the Unseen.
