Pickpocketing

The very best way to get Dirham in this game is by doing some thievery. You grew up as a thief, and you know exactly how to get by. Sometimes, civilians will have items or Dirham you can pickpocket, but it’s not so simple. There’s a very small minigame where you have to hit the button at the right moment to pickpocket without them noticing. Sometimes it’s easy, while other times the timing is quite short.

If you don’t care about bending the rules a little, you can actually turn on Guaranteed Pickpocket in the gameplay settings. This way, you’ll automatically pickpocket everyone. But if you’d rather do it the usual way, you can also get the Pickpocket Master Skill in the Skill Tree. This does the same thing, it allows you to auto-pickpocket.

Since civilians are located pretty much everywhere in Baghdad, just walk around the streets and pickpocket people. If you’re noticing the numbers are dwindling, sit at a bench and wait. This will pass time, and more people will spawn who you can pickpocket from.

Looting chests

The next easy way to get Dirham is to always loot chests. You can find chests in restricted areas with guards roaming around—normally during missions—or sometimes in random restricted buildings.

If you’re having trouble spotting them, press the ‘V’ key to enter Eagle Vision. Now you should see chests in your area light up, available for you to loot. Just make sure no one’s watching you, you don’t want to get caught.

Sellings trinkets

Throughout your missions and explorations in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you’ll come across trinkets. Usually, you can find these while looting restricted areas, or sometimes when pickpocketing people.

Although they may seem useless at first, you can actually sell trinkets to Traders. They don’t have any other purpose besides to sell, so get rid of them all as soon as you find a Trader.
