Call of Duty: Vanguard is finally here and with it sees the arrival of a new campaign, multiplayer maps and modes, a new Zombies experience, and more. When you first load into a multiplayer match, the MP-40 is one of the first weapons you get to try out. At launch, it has become a popular choice due to how powerful and reliable it has proven to be. Instantly, you can begin leveling it up to unlock the attachments needed to make a dominant MP40 class in Vanguard.
Already, the MP40 is a strong contender on the battlefield. It is able to get the job done at both short and medium ranges. This class will focus on making the submachine gun even stronger in terms of firepower and accuracy. Also, mobility will be taken into account, so you can make the most of the gun’s best features.
Call of Duty: Vanguard MP40 class
- Muzzle: Recoil Booster
- Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
- Barrel: Krausnick 317mm 04B
- Magazine: 9mm 24 Round Fast Mags
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
- Kit: Quick
- Stock: Krausnick 33m Folding
- Proficiency: Brace
- Optic: Slate Reflector
To begin your class, the Recoil Booster Muzzle will allow you to experience improved fire rate. Paring this with the Carver Foregrip will allow you to take advantage of the fire rate as it boosts your recoil control. At the same time, the Underbarrel increases your hip fire accuracy, an important feature while getting up close and personal with any submachine gun. Also, the Krausnick 317mm 04B Barrel will ensure your weapon is highly accurate and controllable, while reducing scope sway and gun bob.
Next, the 9mm 24 Round Fast Magazine is a solid choice. Although it decreases your ammunition capacity, your MP40 will now have significantly faster reload speed. Then, using the Lengthened Ammo Type will really see the submachine gun pack a punch as it increases the bullet velocity by 30%. Therefore, you will be able to take down multiple enemies with just one clip.
Be quick off the mark with your MP40
In terms of choosing a Rear Grip, equipping the Stippled Grip contributes to greater recoil recovery, and sees initial accuracy and recoil control gains. Additionally, this is useful as you will find it easier to center your gun after shooting it. Using the Quick Kit will see you gain more sprint speed, allowing you to fly at your opponents. Then, the Krausnick 33m Folding Stock will further reinforce this by providing you with more sprint to fire speed and increased overall movement speed. Notably, as this Stock has the downside of hitting initial accuracy and recoil, you can use the Brace Proficiency to bring this stat back up.
If you would like to use an Optic, the Slate Reflector is a viable option. Although it may feel unnatural to use an Optic on a submachine gun, you can use the clear sight to make sure your shots are more precise. However, this MP40 class is just as strong in Vanguard multiplayer without the sight.
