Lords of the Fallen has many classes for you to choose from, but you can never go wrong with the poster child of Soulslike games, the Knight class. Picking the Hallowed Knight is a pretty safe option, opting for strong melee attacks and good armor to get you through the game. You’ll want to know the best weapons and armor to get you through Lords of the Fallen.
Best starting weapons for Hallowed Knights in LOTF
Your starting weapons for the Hallowed Knight in Lords of the Fallen will essentially be strength-based weapons, as that’s the Hallowed Knight’s specialty. Some way into the game, you’ll face an enemy that uses a mace to try and bludgeon you. If you keep taking down this foe, you could score the Avowed Mace.
The Avowed Mace is a great starter weapon. Considering that, even in Skyrest Bridge, you can get better gear than what you get at the start of the game, though upgrading your build initially is a little tricky. I would quickly ditch the sword for the Avowed Mace but keep the shield.
Eventually, you will come across the Thorned Crimson Rector Sword, a very powerful long sword. It’s heavier, so may not be compatible with your build if you’ve neglected endurance and vitality. But a few points thrown that way is well worth it considering the sword’s power. It’s befitting of the Hallowed Knight class.

Best starting Armor for Hallowed Knights in LOTF
Frankly, your starting armor is as good as it’ll get for a small while in Lords of the Fallen. Luckily, the Hallowed Knight set is strong and reliable. However, you will soon come across some upgrades.
In Pilgrim’s Perch, there is a locked door next to an Umbral Flowerbed that requires the Pilgrim’s Perch Key. Buy this from Stomund for 9,500 Vigor, and you’ll gain access to the Sacred Resonance set, pictured below.
It isn’t that much heavier, and everything aside from the chest piece is superior. Remember, this is early in the game, so the serious stat buff it provides makes it a fantastic armor set. It also won’t weigh too much, making it optimal for whatever weapons you want to pair it with.
I hope this has helped you in your quest, lampbearer. For more Lords of the Fallen guidance, seek the aid of PC Invasion.
