Although this build wasn’t always great, Blizzard has reworked the Frozen Orb ability to make it more explosive and impactful. Frozen Orb is your main method of attack during this build. It’s able to make enemies Vulnerable (especially Frozen enemies), deal massive AoE damage, and deal increased damage to Healthy enemies. Then we have Teleport so you can quickly get out of sticky situations and become Unstoppable.
Frost Nova is the best way to Freeze enemies around you, allowing you to make more enemies Vulnerable with Frozen Orb. Ice Armor is another Defensive skill but it’s more central to this build. With the additional skills taken with it, you can regenerate Mana while it’s active and enemies hitting you while it’s active have a chance to become Frozen.
Flame Shield is the final Defensive skill taken and it’ll make you Immune while it’s active. It’s also good for applying Burn on surrounding enemies. Lastly, you’ll take Unstable Currents for your Ultimate skill which allows Lightning to surge around you for 10 seconds. Unlocking Prime Unstable Currents will also make this Ultimate increase your Attack Speed by a whopping 25% when active.

Best Frozen Orb Sorcerer Enchantments in Diablo 4
For a Frozen Orb Sorcerer, I recommend picking Frozen Orb and either Fire Bolt or Teleport. Frozen Orb is an obvious choice since it allows you to launch a Frozen Orb at a nearby enemy whenever you cast a non-Basic skill.
Fire Bolt and Teleport for Enchantments are good picks. While Fire Bolt provides additional Burning damage over time from direct Skill damage, Teleport replaces your Evade move with a short-range Teleport that gives you incredible mobility.
I’d pick Teleport over Fire Bolt because the Hydra Conjuration can help with Burning damage if you wear the Fractured Winterglass Unique Amulet. This gives you a pretty high chance of spawning a random Conjuration such as the Hydra anytime you cast Frozen Orb.
