Become the master of fire and magic.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree adds new Remembrances, which can be used to unlock new weapons, spells, and more. After defeating Rellana in Castle Ensis, you can trade in her Remembrance for the deadly Rellana’s Twin Blades. This guide covers the best Rellana’s Twin Blades build including stats, Talismans, and armor.

Best stats to upgrade for the Rellana’s Twin Blades

Before we get into the best stats to focus on for a Rellana’s Twin Blades build, it’s important to know that it scales with four stats: Intelligence, Faith, Strength, and Dexterity. When you initially acquire the weapon, each stat has a D scaling, but after upgrading it, Strength and Dexterity raise to a C scaling. Intelligence and Faith remain the same (D Scaling).

With that in mind, your main focus should be raising Strength and Dexterity first and foremost. Intelligence and Faith are secondary but are still essential. Once you begin to see a falloff in increased damage when upgrading Strength and Dexterity, start investing in Faith and Intelligence to increase weapon damage as much as possible.

Best Talisman for the Rellana’s Twin Blades

The Talisman you equip can make or break a build, and since Rellana’s Twin Blades uses magic through its Moon-and-Fire Stance skill, you want to have Talisman that improves magic and skills. Below are my picks for the best Talisman for a Rellana’s Twin Blades build.

  • Shard of Alexander: Greatly boosts the attack power of skills by 15%. (Drops from Iron Fist Alexander after his quest line).
  • Ancestral Spirit Horn: Restores 3 FP upon defeating an enemy. (Obtained from the Remembrance of the Regal’s Ancestor)
  • Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman: Enormously reduces Physical Damage taken by 20%. (Found in a chest in Haligtree)
  • Rellana’s Cameo: Enhances attacks executed after maintaining the same stance for a while. (Found in Castle Ensis).

The Talisman mentioned above is the best combination for Rellana’s Twin Blades. Shard of Alexander will increase the damage of the Moon-and-Fire stance skill significantly, which is very important considering you’ll be using it a lot. Meanwhile, Ancestral Spirit Horn allows you to use the skill more often as each enemy you defeat will reward you with FP.

Rellana’s Cameo (new to the DLC) increases your attacks after maintaining the same stance for a while. Considering the Moon-and-Fire skill is considered a stance, you can significantly increase its damage output with the Rellana’s Cameo equipped. Just make sure you hold the stance by holding down the skill button until your character turns red.

Best Armor set for the Rellana’s Twin Blades

The armor you decide to wear for a Rellana’s Twin Blade build isn’t the most important, but there are pieces you can equip that will work to your benefit. For example, the Spellblade set will increase the overall damage of skills that use magic by 2% per piece. In other words, if you have the full Spellblade set equipped, then your Moon-and-Fire stance skill’s damage will increase by 8%.

I highly recommend you get this armor set as soon as possible. You can acquire the Spellblade armor set from Sorcerer Rogier from the Roundtable Hold when he dies or falls asleep. If you decide against the Spellblade set, then make sure you select armor pieces that raise one of the four stats mentioned earlier.
