Best quick-scoping builds for snipers in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone

Taking aim!

In Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, no two weapons are alike – this is especially true of sniper rifles. The trick is knowing which sniper rifles can give you the edge. The snipers that follow are probably the best quick-scoping builds for the weapon in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone.

Snipers can be hard to use. Just like the Carrack .300, you might have a good time using the weapon, but it could hinder your progression. So let’s go over some good builds that can help you get better at sniping and quick scoping.

MCPR-300

If you’re trying to one-shot, the MCPR-300 is your gun — just as long as you use the following upgrades. While it’s best suited for distance fights, you can use it for quick-scoping at shorter ranges.

  • Muzzle: Nilsound 90
  • Barrel: “22 OMX-456
  • Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
  • Ammo: .300 Mag Explosive
  • Stock: Cronen Lion Stock

The MCPR-300 has been nerfed a bit because it’s a slower gun to shoot with intense bullet drop-off. But the above attachments speed things up quite a bit. The mods also bump the damage up a little. But be careful, it’s still not that fast of a weapon, I would recommend either using it when you’re farther away from your target or if the area isn’t super hostile.

Equipment for the MCPR-300

  • Perk 1: Overkill
  • Perk 2: Double Time
  • Bonus Perk: Spotter
  • Ultimate: Ghost

Most of the equipment is self-explanatory, but the one that stands out is Overkill. The Overkill perk allows you to have an assault rifle or SMG. This way, if you miss your quick scope attempt, you can bring out your secondary, and fight back. Spotter is important as well, it makes it harder to be detected with drones.

SA-B 50

Good stats, good range, good accuracy, and it with a solid quick fire? The SA-B 50 is perfect for downing enemies in rapid succession. Let’s go over the build:

  • Ammo: .308 High Velocity
  • Bolt: FSS ST87
  • Barrel: 18.5” Bryson LR Factory
  • Optic: Forge Tac Delta 4
  • Stock: FTAC EZK-Pro

Most of these attachments emphasize the reload and ADS speed. Additionally, it might increase the range of your quick scoping. While the SA-B 50 is good at medium range, the optic and the barrel might help add range.

Equipment for the SA-B 50

  • Perk 1: Scavenger
  • Perk 2: Double Time
  • Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
  • Ultimate: Quick Fix

You need to be stocked up with ammo most of the time, and Scavenger will allow you to do so. Fast Hands will shorten reload times. Once you shoot, quickly reload for a second attempt or a follow-up kill.

Double Time makes you harder to hit while in motion, and then Quick Fix can come into play if you’re low on health. Note: Quick Fix only works if you kill someone with the sniper. The attachments above might make all your shots land. Overall, this build allows you to play more aggressively, and when you do, it may be easier to get those rad quick-scope kills.
