Best places to farm kills in Destiny 2

Warm up that trigger finger.

Sometimes a certain Bounty or Catalyst requires you to kill a lot of enemies. And while Destiny 2 has plenty of bad guys to take out, it can still take a while without a good farming spot. So here are the best places to farm kills in Destiny 2.

Where to farm kills in Destiny 2

The community has agreed on a few notable places as the best places to farm kills in Destiny 2. Most of these places make use of paid content and expansions though. So if you’re a New Light player or are sticking to the free-to-play content, some of these solutions may not work for you.

Grasp of Avarice

The first farming spot is a classic for longtime Destiny fans. The Grasp of Avarice Dungeon is a callback to the Loot Cave from Destiny 1. However, instead of unending loot, you can farm an unlimited spawn of enemies. To start this mission, you’ll need to own the Bungie 30th Anniversary DLC pack.

All you need to do is go to the Loot Cave in question and kill the enemies that spawn around it. Do not complete the associated objective here otherwise, the mission will progress and the enemies will no longer spawn. Once you’ve had your fill of this grinding spot, check out the full Dungeon when you can because it’s well worth experiencing.

Terminal Overload – Neptune

The next best answer for farming enemies usually comes in the form of whatever wave-based activities are available in Destiny 2. For Lightfall, Terminal Overload is what we have to work with and this is a good way to farm some kills.

The activity has a definitive end at some point so it’s not technically an unending source of kills. However, it’s easy to run this again and again plus you’ll have some people to back you up if things get sketchy,

Onslaught

Horde modes generally present the best ways to garner a bunch of kills in quick succession. And with the arrival of Onslauight in Into the Light, Destiny 2 finally has a good one. Onslaught lets you tackle up to 50 waves of enemies with two other teammates.

Personally, this has been a great way for me to farm some kills too. And since Onslaught is so easy to jump back into immediately, it’s hard to say it isn’t the best farming option in Destiny 2 right now. It also lets you put builds to the test in high-stress PvE situations, which is very handy.
