Wuthering Waves: Best places to farm Iris

Iris is a unique resource to find. The good news is that you can farm it by using different methods. The bad news is that it is one of the harder things to find in the RPG. To make life easier, this guide will go through all the known ways to farm Iris.

In the wild

Like most things to find, Iris can be found in the world as you’re roaming around. However, the search will be more focused. To get things started, head to the southmost of the map, near Waving Battlefield and Platue Ruins. That’s the easy part.

The area you’re going to want to look into is a sandstorm. However, much of this area will be inaccessible because of said sandstorm, you can still find Iris around the storm. To clear up the storm, you have to get farther in the main story. Once you do, you may be able to find more in the area that was covered by the storm.

Shifang Store

Located in central Jinzhou, this pharmacy is the most convenient way to get resources such as Belle Poppy; the same is said about Iris. But note that you have to have deep wallets to get them. Meaning, Iris is expensive.

For one it costs about 3K coins. If you choose to go this route, ensure you’re collecting money everywhere you go, and be smart in how you spend the coins. On top of that, the store resets. If you manage to clean out Shifang Pharmacy, you’ll have to wait for a while till the stock resets.

Skill Training

A lot of what you do will yield you resources. Everything in Wuthering Waves has rewards which in a way helps players keep on playing. One of those rewards is Iris. However, you’re going to have to work through Skill Training to get Iris.

Doing this method is great for a couple of reasons. One, you get to learn more about the characters, and in turn, you get to play better. Two, it’s another great way to farm other resources as well. So while you’re grinding away from Iris, you can become resource-rich via Skill Training.

Which Resonator uses Iris?

Not every Resonator uses this ingredient to level up, so when you’re checking which Resonater needs which resource, you may be a little lost. To narrow it down, the two Resonators are Calcharo and Taoqi. Both are interesting for what they can do, but Calcharo is the guy you want to add more power to your comps.

The Crowless boss in Wuthering Waves can make you minced meat. Preparing is usually a good idea.
