Mercy Hit is a Passive Skill in Palworld that allows the Pal to never eliminate the Pal it’s attacking. This means that you can bring another Pal as close to death as possible, without killing it, which raises the base capture chance to a minimum.

Mercy Hit is extremely valuable, and like all Passive Skills, you can semi-control the Pal that has it.

Every Pal that spawns in has a chance to spawn with some Passive Skills, one of which may be Mercy Hit. Although this is random, there are a couple of things you can do.

One option is to keep farming for the Pal you want to have Mercy Hit, and hope that you bump into one. You won’t be able to know what Passive Skills a Pal has until you’ve captured it, so you’ll need a lot of Pal Spheres and a lot of patience. These Pals can be bred easily with Pals that are easy to capture without Mercy Hit, for the most part, so you can form a formidable team of Pals that you can use to take on the Pals you’ll want Mercy Hit for.
