Druids are a Wisdom-based class that can also Wild Shape into various beasts. If you’re playing this class in Baldur’s Gate 3, you may want to check out these best multiclass builds for Druids.
You won’t often see players multiclassing as a Druid, since they’re a pretty powerful class on their own. Nevertheless, if you feel like multiclassing, here are some good choices.
Baldur’s Gate 3: Best multiclass builds for Druids
- Druid/Barbarian
- Druid/Fighter
- Druid/Cleric
- Druid/Ranger
1. Druid (7)/Barbarian (5)
This is the build I created for the Jaheira companion build. This type of Druid benefits from being able to cast spells, use melee weapons, and Wild Shape. I specifically went for Circle of the Spores Druid and the Wildheart Barbarian.
This mix of subclasses will make sure that Jaheira can stay up long enough to keep her Halo of Spores going. You’ll keep your Wisdom, Constitution, and Strength the highest of your Ability Scores. You should also choose Feats like War Caster or Tough.
2. Druid (6)/Fighter (6)
As a Druid/Fighter multiclass, you can use Battle Maneuvers from the Battle Master subclass, and an array of Wild Shapes from the Circle of the Moon subclass. This build will also allow you one Extra Attack, as well as an Action Surge for more moves in one turn.
This can benefit you with your spellcasting as well, letting you both cast spells and dish out melee hits in one turn. You’ll gain three Feats in this build, so I’d recommend War Caster again, as well as Savage Attacker or Sentinel. Just like the previous build, focus on keeping Wisdom, Strength and Constitution high.

3. Druid (6)/ Ranger (6)
Both of these classes connect to nature, making it a perfect match for a multiclass. I’d go for Beast Master Ranger, just for the fact that you can summon an animal companion while you’re in Wild Shape. Double the trouble!
You should choose Circle of the Moon, just because it’s the best Druid subclass. This build gives you two Feat options, so I’d pick something like Athlete or, yet again, War Caster. Rangers use their Dexterity modifier, so focus on Ability Scores like Wisdom, Dexterity, and Constitution.
4. Druid (6)/ Cleric (6)
Both of these classes use Wisdom as their spellcasting modifier, which makes this a great multiclass pick. Although the Nature Domain would sound best, it has too many overlapping spells. I think the War Domain is a great pick, which can boost your attack rolls immensely and give you crucial Cleric spells.
As for the Druid subclass, it’s best to pick Circle of the Moon again. But if you want an array of spells, go for Circle of the Land. As for the best Feats, you need War Caster, but you should also consider Spell Sniper or Durable. You only need to focus on Wisdom and Constitution here, but Dexterity is also important for your AC.
