Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) is known for its intense multiplayer scene. With a huge array of weapons and loadouts, people can play to their style and preference whilst dominating the field. If you want a serious K/D ratio, and you don’t mind using a shotgun, then this Lockwood 300 loadout is certainly for you. With this insane weapon, you’ll be one shot one killing everyone in your way. Here is the best Lockwood 300 loadout for MW2.
The One Shot One Kill Lockwood 300 Loadout
This build is centered around the Maelstrom Dual Trigger, allowing for both slugs to be sent off at the same time, doing major damage. Below is a list of the attachments you’ll want for the Lockwood 300:
- Barrel – 711mm Matuzek D50
- Laser – VLK LZR 7MW
- Stock – Heist Stock Mod
- Ammunition – 12 Gauge Explosive
- Trigger Action –Â Maelstrom Dual Trigger
- Muzzle – Sakin DB107
- Underbarrel – VX Pineapple
With the Lockwood 300 out of the way, here is a list of the loadout:
- Primary – Lockwood 300
- Secondary –Â Machine Pistol of your choice
- Tactical – Stun Grenade
- Lethal – Sticky Grenade
- Perk Package – Vanguard
- Field Upgrade – Battle Rage
With this loadout, tweaked to your personal preference, will allow you to destroy the enemy team. Make full use of the loadout, don’t just stubbornly stick to using solely the Lockwood 300, as it isn’t perfect for all situations. The machine pistol will help you out if there are many enemies, and your shotgun needs reloading.

Cons of the build
Now, I believe this to be the best build for the Lockwood 300 in MW2, but there are a couple of problems.
Firstly, it’s a shotgun, so even with the decent range it provides, it won’t outrange everything. On large maps, with lots of open area and distance, you’ll probably be outmatched. You’ll want to stick to smaller maps. Shipment is where this gun truly shines.
Secondly, you won’t be able to deal with many enemies at once. Although this weapon rips through one enemy with one shot, you must reload after each shot, meaning that you’re vulnerable. It isn’t a long reload, but you’ve got to make sure you’re covered after firing a shot. The decent range allows you to pick off enemies before they come too close to you, and by that time you can switch to a secondary, anyway.
I hope you enjoyed our explanation of the best build for your Lockwood 300. I wish you all the best on the battlefield, soldier. For more MW2 content, look no further than PC Invasion.
