Best level to start Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk DLC explained

What level should we bring?

It’s finally time, we’re now able to dive into the concluding DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and head over to the Blueberry Academy in The Indigo Disk. Before you venture off to this unknown land, you will want to ensure your Pokemon are up to par, but what level is this?

Scarlet and Violet’s final chapter is here for players to dive into, and trainers worldwide are going to test their Pokemon throughout the Blueberry Academy and eventually tackle the Elite 4 here. However, before we head off to another region, most of us are going to want to tinker with our current Pokemon team, making any last-minute adjustments before heading over.

We don’t want to bring over a team that will easily stop all the Pokemon over there or one that will be nimble compared to NPCs we’re going to face. So, when accessing your Pokemon beforehand, we’re going to recommend that players bring Pokemon anywhere from level 70 onwards.

Somewhere in that 70-80 region is going to be the sweet spot, as most of the other trainers you’re going to battle over there will have Pokemon around this level.

However, there isn’t going to be a level restriction when heading over to The Indigo Disk, so you can realistically bring one level 100 Pokemon, followed up with all level 1’s, but this would be a terrible strategy. It’s always good to have a balanced Pokemon team for any battle, as you never know what kind of Pokemon your opposition is going to throw out next.

Once you land on Blueberry Academy, you’re going to want to ensure you accumulate the most BP you can, as this will aid you and your Pokemon’s journey. We’ve got you covered here for some quick and easy methods to obtain BP here.
