Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Best Johnny build

First and foremost, he’s a tracker, so he’s there as the guy who chases his victims and pushes them towards the other killers. On top of that, understand he’s not going to be the going giving Grandpa blood, that’s not what he’s built for. Let’s go over his base stats to take this point home.

  • Savagery: 30
  • Endurance: 30
  • Blood Harvesting: 16

As you can see his low point is the Blood Harvesting, which is fine, leave that for other characters that specialize in this area like Sissy. When playing as Johnny, your game plan is chasing the victims. To do so invest in both Savagery and Endurance. For Savagery, the higher you are, the less stamina you’ll use, which allows you to keep the chase longer. Next, for Savegery, add more to that stat. When that is done, you can potentially down victims in almost one swing. This becomes a crucial late game when things are coming down to the wire.

Also, make sure you make use of his Hunt ability. The ability shows tracks of the victim’s footprints within range. If your Endurance is maxed out, losing victims will be nearly impossible for you. Additionally, sneaking won’t work as much if Johnny is in play, he has a knack for finding his victims quickly.

Perks of the Best Johnny Build

Now you have an idea of where to place your points for his stats, let’s look at what perks work well with him.

Feral Perk: Since we’re investing in Johnny’s Savergery stat heavily, getting this perk increases that stat by tenfold. It’s crucial for this build and makes Johnny even deadlier than Leatherface.

Warmed Up: As mentioned, for this build your points should be going towards Endurance as well, this perk highlights the reason. If you lose or win a close encounter, his ability gets recharged up to around 40 percent. As we’ve gone over, he’s always hunting, this gets him back in the chase in no time.

Patience: This perk completes the build of Johnny. Whenever you use Hunt, the consumption is cut by 40 percent whenever he stands still. The rule of thumb is using the ability when not moving, and in turn, the skill comes back almost immediately. This helps him hunt victims at a consistent rate.

To conclude this build guide of Johnny, you’re going to be running around a lot and using fewer resources overall. Plus, you have the advantage of making him a one-hit killer who could be a good second choice to Leatherface.
