Best GS Magna Loadout in DMZ and Warzone 2

The Full Auto Hand Cannon .

You could be forgiven for thinking the new GS Magna Handgun in MW2 and Warzone 2 is simply a reskin. After all, it looks almost identical to the .50 GS and even has the same attachments! The big difference is under the hood. The GS Magna is fully automatic, completely changing how to build this mighty hand cannon. Let me show you the best GS Magna Loadout for DMZ and Warzone 2.

I’ve got two builds for you to play with in this guide. One for a single GS Magna and one if you prefer Akimbo.

I’ve recommended Perks and Equipment, but these are personal preferences. As the GS Magna is a secondary weapon, you can decide if you want it to be your main focus or a backup for your primary.

GS Magna Attachments

  • Barrel: SA Tyrant Fifty
  • Muzzle: EXF Fifty GS
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Warrior Grip
  • Magazine: 13 Round Mag
  • Optic: SZ Mini

Equipment

  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Stun/Flash Grenade

Suggested Perks

  • Tracker
  • Ghost
  • Fast Hands
  • Scavenger

The SA Tyrant Fifty is a great barrel for this build. It increases Damage Range and helps tame the GS Magna’s punchy Recoil.

There are a few decent Muzzle options, but EXF Fifty GS offers general Recoil Control and Sound Suppression. The Potato Masher is a worthy alternative if you struggle with the horizontal kick.

The Bruen Warrior Grip is best in slot for the Underbarrel. This Grip improves our lethality when firing from the hip, which you’ll need occasionally.

The stock Magazine for the GS Magna holds a pitiful seven rounds, so the 13 Round Mag is essential for any GS Magna build. I like an Optic, but you could swap this out for the EXF Resistance Grip for even better Recoil Control.

Akimbo GS Magna Attachments

  • Barrel: SA Longshot-50
  • Muzzle: Potato Masher
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Warrior Grip
  • Magazine: 13 Round Mag
  • Rear Grip: GS Magna Akimbo

Akimbo changes our Attachment choices quite significantly as we can’t ADS anymore. We want our build to favor hip-fire accuracy over anything else.

The SA Longshot-50 Barrel slightly improves hip fire control compared to the EXF Fifty GS.

The Potato Masher Muzzle reduces Horizontal Recoil. The GS Magna’s kick is usually manageable if you’re placing your shots, but you won’t be doing that with Akimbo.

The Bruen Warrior Grip is still the best Underbarrel attachment, and we replace the Optic with the Akimbo style grip.

What’s better, Standard or Akimbo?

The GS Magna is a lethal sidearm that you can focus your entire build on. If you’re looking for a good Assault Rifle to go with it, why not try the Chimera?

The GS Magna can delete enemies in a split second, no matter how you use it. I prefer Standard over Akimbo for the extra accuracy and reliable headshots. Akimbo GS Magna’s have an absurdly fast TTK, but reckless trigger spam quickly empties those small Magazines. If you’re an aggressive player and can get right in your opponent’s faces, the Magazine size won’t matter.
