-10 Best Looking Games Overall this Gen
Welcome to this list of games with the best graphics on the Xbox 360. We chose the games that we thought really stuck out in terms of visual excellence from the enormous library of Microsoft’s HD system. Of course, the games that stuck out the most were from the Gears of War series. Epic Games has one of the most famous engines on the market today, Unreal Engine 3, and they modified it heavily for the Gears of War series. And because of this they are slick and, oftentimes, stunning. Two RPGs with unique and colorful art styles made it in: Eternal Sonata and Tales of Versperia. Speaking of colorful, nothing comes in a more vibrantly colorful palette on the 360 than Viva Pinata. One other Rare game made it in. Namely, Banjo Kazooie, which features a vast colorful world with goofy character design. Forza 4 was a no-brainer for its photo-realistic approach to racing. And Halo Reach and Fable 3 may already be showing some age, but still hold up pretty nicely. If you’re looking for Fez, it made it into the Best Art Styles list.
