15 best Fortnite skins

Skin in the game

There have been a lot of skins in Fortnite, and it’s hard to pinpoint what are the best 10 skins, but we did single out a lot of great skins below. This is really a matter of taste, especially when there have been hundreds already released to the game, but we’re confident you’ll like the ones we’ve chosen.

Top 15 Fortnite Skins

Obviously, this is a matter of opinion because, over time, so many awesome skins have come. However, we’ve picked 10 of the best in Fortnite, from down to what we consider to be the best skin in the game.

Miguel O’Hara Spider-Man Skin

It’s hard to pick one Spider-Man skin because they’re all beloved. However, I think the Miguel O’Hara, also known as Spider-Man 2099, skin in Fortnite is the best Spider-Man skin in the game. The skin perfectly captures the character’s futuristic aesthetic. It features a black and blue suit with glowing red accents, and it comes with a built-in emote and back bling.

Most importantly, the Miguel O’Hara skin is loved by fans of the Spider-Man franchise because it accurately captures the character’s iconic look and feel. After the Across The Spider-Verse, the decades-old character gained a ton of new fans. This skin is the perfect representation of the beloved character.

Imperial Stormtrooper

Nothing can escape The Empire’s reach, not even Fortnite. Being such a behemoth in popular culture meant it was only a matter of time before Star Wars showed up in Fortnite. The Stormtrooper is a great skin because of how well it fits in Fortnite while retaining its own sense of style.

What’s best is you could have gotten it bundled with a purchase of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on Epic Games. Don’t fret though, as the Stormtrooper comes and goes in the item shop often – it was last seen in October 2023. Might I suggest this as an apt gift for that teammate who has regrettably horrendous aim but never gives up?

Satoru Gojo

The Satoru Gojo skin is one of the best skins in Fortnite for a few reasons. In the first place, it’s based on a popular character, Satoru Gojo, the protagonist of the anime and manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. His powerful abilities and unique personality make him a compelling character, and his popularity is reflected in the popularity of the Gojo skin.

It’s based on Gojo’s appearance in Jujutsu Kaisen, and it features his signature white hair and black sunglasses. Other cool details include the Infinity symbol on Gojo’s forehead and the red and black markings on his face.

Naruto

Naruto is one of the most popular anime and manga series in the world, and its characters are instantly recognizable to millions of fans. I couldn’t really choose one, since they all landed around the same time. At the time, there were tons of different skins in use. So, I’m putting them all together as their own.

The Naruto skins in Fortnite are well-designed and accurately capture the appearance of the characters from the series. Fortnite’s Naruto skins feature built-in emotes and animations based on the characters’ abilities from the series. Naruto, for example, has an emote for performing Rasengan jutsu. They enhance the overall appeal and add to the fun of using the skins.

Axion Sentinel

You can tell Axion Sentinel deserves a spot on this list from the image above alone. With his scaly purple armor, slit-like eyes, and a weird sign on his forehead, the Sentinel looks both futuristic and paranormal at once. He also has variable styles that each successively makes the scales on his armor look more prominent, which is a great look but not very substantial when compared with styles for other skins. A highlight of this suit, which I love, is the detail where you can see shimmers of stars, stationary on his outfit while he moves, kind of in the same way as the Galaxy skin.

Geralt of Rivia

The famed Witcher of the Continent once graced his presence on Fortnite Island at the beginning of Chapter 4. I’ve got to say, all the Witcher Fortnite skins including Yennefer and Ciri were designed incredibly well by their artists. You can compare them to see how remarkably similar they looked against their CD Projekt counterparts.

Character recreations from other media in Fortnite always work best when they’re accurate. Geralt deserves special mention due to his accompanying double sword sheath back bling, separate lore-accurate steel and silver blades and, I kid you not, an inflatable horse as a glider.

Goku skins (All styles)

To be fair, this list is really anime-heavy, but only because a great deal of Fortnite fans seem to be anime and manga fans. When these were released, they seemed to take over matches. We’re sticking with Goku for this pick from the Dragon Ball Z era – and all styles – even though we know people loved Ultra Instinct at the time. I did, too; to be fair, it was during the Tournament of Power, so this was probably a really smart collab on Epic Games’ part.

It is well-designed and accurately captures the appearance of Goku from the Dragon Ball series. The Goku skin has a lot of cool features and came when Fortnite was using the Kamehameha as a powerful attack. Even today, people still use the Ultra Instinct version because no one – and I mean no one – can beat Goku in a fight.

Raven

The Raven skin in Fortnite is popular for a number of reasons. First, it has a unique and stylish design. The Raven skin features a black and purple outfit with a raven hood and mask. It’s pretty menacing-looking and stands out from other more friendly-looking skins in the game.

The Raven character is known for their dark and mysterious personality. The dark and edgy design certainly appeals to some players. Black and purple colors, the raven hood and mask, and the overall mystery all combine to make an intimidating – but awesome – end product.

Thunder

Thunder is one ssslitheringly cool-looking skin that was featured as a part of the Street Rep Set back in Chapter 4 Season 2. With his gold watch, rings, chains, and belt buckle, you could slither across the map in style while the floor ices behind you (metaphorically).

He bears an uncanny resemblance to Spiderman’s Curt Connors in the comics if the villain were to be featured on MTV. Another thing I love about this skin is its various styles you could unlock from the Bonus Rewards tab. Each successive style gave Thunder a look that was more awesome than the last.

Renegade Raider

The Renegade Raider skin in Fortnite is one of the most popular skins in the game for a lot of reasons. First of all, it is one of the rarest skins in the game – it was one of the very first ones released. Due to this, the skin is highly sought-after by collectors and fans.

Second, the Renegade Raider looks amazing. It has a unique and stylish design, featuring a black and red hoodie, a bandana, and a skull mask. For some players, the Renegade Raider skin is also a symbol of nostalgia for the early days of Fortnite. Having this is a status symbol, and if you have it, you’re an OG.

Huntmaster Saber

The Huntmaster Saber is a skin I can see myself buying if it were not tied to a console purchase. One of the rarer skins on this list, the Huntmaster Saber has looks that could kill. His mask shows glowing blue eyes and marked canines that hide an ominous face. The whole outfit has a dangerous look to it as if you’re staring a real-life tiger in the face. Sadly, you could only get this skin if you had bought an Xbox Series X console that had a code for the Gilded Hunter bundle with it.

Skull Trooper

The Skull Trooper is one of the most iconic Fortnite skins. It’s nowhere near as advanced as skins are today, being a simple black costume with a white skull imprint. This skin should remind many of the Karate Kid or Goonies movies, as the outfits were used there, but it is perfect for Fortnite. It seems to perfectly encapsulate the cartoonish violence the game is known for.

The Skull Trooper skin is one of the oldest skins in the game and is one of the most sought-after skins by collectors and fans of the game. It is as rare as it is popular and perfect for any Halloween event.

Ghoul Trooper

The Ghoul Trooper is similar because of its association with Halloween and its rarity. However, the reason the Ghoul Trooper is better is because of how much effort went into it. The Ghoul Trooper skin features a zombie-like appearance with green skin, glowing eyes, and a torn-up outfit.

With its green and black colors, the skin can be paired with other green and black cosmetics, but it can also be used with cosmetics of other colors to create unique and stylish looks. This skin just looks so good, and whoever made it really knew what the game needed to become more popular.

Full Gold Midas skin

Thanos, Galactus, and every other enemy the game has had can’t come close to Midas. Midas is THE Fortnite bad guy, and in my opinion, no other character has come close to having the impact Midas has. The gold version is the top tier, but even partially gold is also pretty cool. There is no doubt that Midas is one of the most beloved characters in Fortnite lore. He is known for his wealth, power, and ruthlessness.

The Midas skin in Fortnite is one of the most popular and sought-after skins in the game, featuring a dress shirt, tie, and sunglasses, but they could be gold, too. As you got through the Battle Pass, the Midas skin got more styles of gold, finishing at being completely gold. This unique and stylish design is one of the main reasons why the Midas skin is so popular among players.

Black Knight Garridan

The Black Knight Garridan skin in Fortnite is one of the most popular and sought-after skins in the game. This was pretty much the first top-tier Fortnite skin there was and it was hard to get. The Black Knight Garridan skin was only available to players who purchased the Save the World mode during a limited-time event. This makes the skin relatively rare, and it is a status symbol among players who have it.

The Black Knight Garridan skin features a black and silver armored design with a red cape and sword. The skin also has a glowing red visor and a dark helmet. I know that if this came out in the item shop today, for like $60, I’d consider buying it. It’s that rare and awesome.
