When you’re starting out in this farming sim, you won’t care too much about what your farm looks like. So now’s the time to plan the best farm layout in Coral Island.
As you start to make more money and unlock more items for a sustainable farm, your farm layout will have to change. Here are some tips for the best-looking and working farm.
Coral Island: Best farm layout
There are quite a few things you need to keep in mind when creating a good farm layout. You’ll want the scarecrows and the sprinklers to work in tandem. Each of these items can cover a certain amount of ground, and you want one scarecrow to be able to cover a ton of space, while also having your sprinklers cover as much tilled soil as possible.
Depending on your type of scarecrow and level of sprinkler, they may not work well together. But once you unlock better versions of each item, you should be able to cover the perfect amount of ground for the best farm layout.

For example, one player on YouTube by the name of The Ginger Empire was able to create a great farm layout using an Ordinary Scarecrow for 17×17 coverage and the Sprinkler II which has 5×5 coverage. If you configure your farm like so, you can include nice walkways between each section. All the crops are covered by a Scarecrow or Sprinkler, which probably makes this the best farm layout.
Another good layout is one found on Reddit. This player found a way to use the Makeshift Scarecrows and base-level Sprinklers together. This is good if you have yet to unlock the better versions of these items.
The player even included a nice grid guide to help figure out where your crops should go, alongside each Sprinkler and Scarecrow. If you’re worried about unlocking better-quality Sprinklers and Scarecrows, you simply have to level up your Farming Mastery Skill. Level four for the Ordinary Scarecrow, and level six for Sprinkler II.
Coral Island is available on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
