Best Early Talismans In Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree Map

Blade of Mercy

  • Effect: Raises attack power after each critical hit.

The easiest Talisman to find as soon as you jump into Shadow of the Erdtree is the Blade of Mercy Talisman. You’ll find this Talisman inside a chest at the Scorched Ruins. At the left side of the Scorched ruins, climb to the right side by climbing over the cloth bridge and you’ll find a door. Behind that door is the chest.

Crusade Insignia

  • Effect: Raises attack power after defeating an enemy.

You’ll get this Talisman as a drop from the Fire Knight Queelign which you can spot at Belurat Tower Settlement. This enemy will be lurking around a circular room near two twisting trees.

Ailment Talisman

  • Effect: Raises resistance to the last ailment suffered.

The Ailment Talisman will be sitting on a corpse in the Abandoned Ailing Village. You’ll spot it after walking through the village and reaching the very top where a wooden platform rests. The body will be lying on the platform.

Rellana’s Cameo

  • Effect: Enhances attacks executed after maintaining the same stance for a while.

You can find Rellana’s Cameo in Castle Ensis. It’ll be sitting on an altar behind a hostile NPC named Moonrithyll in the chapel.

Two-Headed Turtle Talisman

  • Effect: Greatly raises stamina recovery speed.

The adorable Two-Headed Turtle Talisman is inside a small cave hidden behind a waterfall. This waterfall is northeast of Belurat Tower Settlement, east of Rivermouth Cave. The entrance will be guarded by a few enemies.

Arrow’s Soaring Sting Talisman

  • Effect: Increases the effective range of bows and raises attack power of arrows and bolts.

This Arrow’s Soaring Sting Talisman is inside a chest at Fog Rift Fort, located in Scadu Altus. You’ll find this chest at the top of the largest tower. You can get there by heading through a gap between the wall and to the tower, walking up the stairs around a cliff, then climbing up the ladders until you make it to the very top.
