Every Titan player worth their ghost knows that up close and personal is the best way to do business. Few elements suit that mantra better than Void, so let me show you the best Destiny 2 Void Titan build for PvP and PvE.

Best PvE Void Titan build in Destiny 2
Void is a versatile element for Titans, with many superb ways to build the class. I’ve tried many popular builds and find this one feels great, as it has a defined game plan but still has flexibility for weapons. The centerpiece for this loadout is the Heart of Inmost Light exotic chest and how we can use it to overwhelm our opponents with Vortex Grenades.
Best PvE Void Titan seasonal perks in Destiny 2 Season of the Witch
Seasonal Perks offer negligible buffs and aren’t required to make the build pop off. Still, here are a few to shoot for:
- Monochromatic Maestro
- Rapid Fire Ranger
- Elemental Embrace
These will come into effect based on your weapon choices. I’ll recommend a few stellar void weapons later, but you should be able to get value out of these perks.
Best PvE Void Titan Aspects and Fragments
Aspects
- Bastion – Casting your Barricade grants Overshield to yourself and nearby allies and empowers it, enabling it to slowly regenerate the Overshield of allies bunkering behind it and extend their Overshield duration
- Offensive Bulwark – While you have an Overshield or are inside Ward of Dawn, your grenade charges significantly faster, you have increased melee range and damage, and melee final blows extend the duration of your Overshield.
Fragments
- Echo of Undermining – Your Void grenades weaken targets.
- Echo of Persistence – Void buffs applied to you (Invisibility, Overshield, and Devour) have increased duration.
- Echo of Starvation – Picking up a Void Breach or an Orb of Power grants Devour.
- Echo of Expulsion – Void ability final blows cause targets to explode
One of the best things about Void Titans is how so many Fragments and Aspects complement one another. Offensive Bulwark and Bastion work well together and grant valuable Overshields to increase our survivability. While we have an active Overshield, we can use our grenade much more often, and our melee ability becomes more lethal.
As we have grenades on tap with this build, our Fragments lean heavily into making them even more potent. Echo of Undermining weakens targets, offering a huge damage buff for the fire team. The Echo of Persistence and Starvation adds Devour into the mix while increasing our Overshield duration by a whopping 40%
Finally, Echo of Expulsion makes Void Ability’s final blows end with an explosion, which will often happen with our grenade spam.
Best PvE Void Titan Abilities
- Super – Ward of Dawn
- Class Ability – Towering Barricade
- Jump – Strafe Lift
- Melee – Shield Bash
- Grenade – Vortex Grenade
Ward of Dawn synergizes with Offensive Bulwark and is an easy choice for the build. I’m a Titan main and love going full Captain America as much as anyone with my Super, but there’s no denying the unrivaled utility of Ward of Dawn.
Towering Barricade is an easy way to trigger an instant overshield and just say “nope!” to any incoming threats. Just beware that the Barricade isn’t invincible, especially in tougher content. The Strafe Lift is my jump of choice regardless of subclass but go with your favorite here.Â
Our Melee choice is a tricky one. I love Shield Throw but find it hard to aim. Shield Bash serves as a great panic button to shove close-range threats away. Finally, Vortex Grenades are fantastic and drag foes in before exploding. Our Grenades trigger the “Weaken” debuff thanks to Echo of Undermining, and you’ll have them ready to go so often with this build.
Best PvE Void Titan Exotic Armor, weapons, and mods
Exotic Armor
Heart of inmost Light –Â Using an ability empowers the other two abilities. Empowered means abilities have faster regen, melees, and grenades do more damage, and Barricades have more hit points
Weapons
- Brya’s Love – Scout Rifle
- The Other Half – Sword
- Le Monarque – Combat Bow
- Tractor Cannon – Shotgun
- Leviathan’s Breath – Heavy Bow
Armor Mods
- Helmet – Discipline Mod, Harmonic Syphon, Heavy Ammo Finder x2
- Arms – Resilience Mod, Firepower, Void Loader
- Chest – Resilience Mod, Arc Resistance, Solar Resistance, Void Resistance
- Legs – Resilience Mod, Insulation, Absolution, Recuperation
- Mark – Resilience Mod, Distribution, Bomber x2
Heart of Inmost Light is one of my favorite Titan Exotics and remains one of the strongest and most versatile for the class. The in-game description is a little wordy, but it basically means that as long as you’re constantly cycling through your abilities, you can use them more often, and they are stronger than usual.
You can use any weapons you like for this build, as they don’t affect the synergy we’ve already set up with our Exotic Armor, Aspects, and Fragments. That said, I’ve recommended a few Void weapons with a mix of Legendary and Exotics. Brya’s Love is a superb Scout Rifle and is shapeable in Season 22. The Tractor Cannon weakens targets, which pairs well with our grenades and the Echo of Undermining.
I see a lot of praise for the Leviathan’s Breath Exotic Bow, and it should work well in this Void build. I’ve tried to enjoy the weapon but find it too slow and clunky. The damage output is impressive, so I recommend trying it out even though it doesn’t gel with me.
Our Mod choices are geared toward grenade spam, but Resilience and Discipline are equally important. Ideally, we want maximum stats for the highest Damage Reduction possible with the shortest Grenade Coldown. If you can only reach 100 points in one, Resilience is your best shot for the survivability boost.
Best PvP Void Titan Build in Destiny 2
Bubble Titans are infamous for an obnoxious playstyle where they can relax inside their bubbles, grinning at any Guardian foolish enough to enter their domain. The PvP build borrows heavily from the PvE loadout above but with a few key changes.
Best PvP Void Titan Aspects and Fragments
- Echo of Leeching – Melee final blows start health regeneration for you and nearby allies
- Echo of Vigilance – Defeating a target while your shields are depleted grants you a temporary Void overshield
- Echo of Provision – Damaging targets with grenades grants melee energy
There’s not much to say about the Aspects that I haven’t already. Overshields aren’t as impactful in PvP as in PvE, but they still offer an advantage. This boost can win fights; if your opponent needs more shots to take you down, that’s more opportunity to clinch victory.
As for our Fragments, we retain Echo of Undermining from our PvE kit, as weakening opponents is just as good in PvP. Echo of Leeching is amazing, especially with our trusty bubble in play, as melee final blows are a big part of our kit.
Echo of Vigilance gives us some much-needed survivability after a close fight. We won’t win battles with the Overshield alone, but it allows us to reposition and reset the fight. Finally, Echo of Provision should help us see our Shield Bash more often.
Best PvP Void Titan Abilities
- Super – Ward of Dawn
- Class Ability – Towering Barricade
- Jump – Strafe Lift
- Melee – Shield Bash
- Grenade – Vortex Grenade
These are unchanged from the PvE setup, and although I said the Shield Throw was a valid option, the Bash is the clear winner in PvP. Crucible has many situations when enemies will be right in your face. The Shield Bash allows Titans to delete those threats from existence and works much better than a ranged option inside a bubble.
Best PvP Void Titan Exotic Armor, weapons, and mods
Exotic Armor
Dunemarchers – Increases sprint speed. Sprinting builds up a static charge. After melee-attacking an enemy, that charge will chain damage to nearby enemies.
Weapons
- Unending Tempest SMG
- Ammit AR2 Auto Rifle
Armor Mods
- Helmet – Discipline Mod, Targetting Mods
- Arms – Resilience Mod, Grenade Kickstart
- Chest – Resilience Mod, Unflinching Aim
- Legs – Resilience Mod, Innervation, Absolution, Insulation
- Mark – Resilience Mod, Reaper, Bomber x2
We swap out the Heart of Inmost Light for the Dunemarchers in PvP. The Dune Marchers are among the most popular Titan PvP Exotics, and you’ll get immediate value from the increase in movement speed. Mobility is incredibly strong, not just in Destiny 2 but in first-person shooters generally.
You can pick your favorite weapons for PvP and have a lot of flexibility in this category.
I’ve recommended the Unending Tempest in the past, and it remains a phenomenal PvP SMG. Don’t worry that it’s not a Void weapon; this SMG is deadly no matter who’s using it. The Ammit AR2 is a superb PvP Auto Rifle and another you’ll see a ton of in The Crucible.
As for our Mods, We ideally want 100 points in Recovery and Reliance, so pick based on where your armor pieces fall short. Targeting Mods are great in PvP, but as they are element-specific, ensure you choose one that benefits your primary weapon.
Grenade Kickstart is nice, as is Unflinching Aim. Remember that the latter is element-specific, so if you’re using the Unending Tempest, ensure you pick Stasis.
