Destiny 2 Season Of The Wish

As you read the Destiny 2 Season of the Wish Artifact perks, you’ll notice there are a few clear synergies. One is Kindling Trigger, Flint Striker, Torch, Heart of Flame, and Rays of Precision for Solar builds, and another is Unravelling Orbs and Horde Shuttle for Strand builds. My favorite so far is the Stasis synergy of Pillar of Ice and Hail The Storm, and there’s also a great Rocket Launcher synergy with Blast Radius, Argent Ordinance, and Overload Rocket Launchers.

The meta for Destiny 2 Season of the Wish is going to be Solar builds. There are a ton of seasonal perks that highlight Solar abilities. If you have them all unlocked, the loop goes like this: become Radiant with rapid precision hits with a Solar weapon, then deal increased damage to Strand- and Stasis-affected enemies and apply more Scorch with your Solar weapons, and finally, Ignite enemies while Radiant after getting Solar weapon precision final blows. I highly recommend going all in on the Solar perks this season.

Strand isn’t too bad with Orbs of Power giving you Unraveling Rounds and Horde Shuttle giving you a Threadling after Unraveling an enemy (this is perfect for my Threadling Warlock). I’m glad we are finally getting Stasis perks; here, we get more Stasis Crystals when Shattering enemies and Shattering emits a burst of ice shards that slow and freeze more enemies.

Finally, to complement the new and improved Dragon’s Breath seasonal Exotic Rocket Launcher, there is a great Rocket Launcher synergy to enjoy via perks. If you have all the Rocket Launcher perks this season, you can get Armor Charge on rapid Rocket Launcher final blows and you get increased reload speed and damage from consuming one Armor Charge. You’ll also deal more damage to Overload Champions.

Like I said, the best Artifact perks in Destiny 2 Season of the Wish are the Solar-focused ones. Solar is insanely powerful this season thanks to the ease of becoming Radiant, spreading Scorch, and Igniting enemies. I’m likely going to be ignoring Strand because we’ve had a lot of it the last few seasons and will instead favor Stasis and maybe Rocket Launchers, especially for the new Dungeon.
