Prepare for an assault.

Cronen Squall is a new weapon in Warzone 2 DMZ. And, like all new weapons usually come, Cronen Squall is very overpowered, especially with the best build. You’ll want to get and equip this weapon to an Active Duty Operator Slot because Cronen Squall in Warzone 2 DMZ is powerful.

How to get Cronen Squall in Warzone 2 DMZ

Before you learn the best build, you need to know how to acquire Cronen Squall. There are three ways to get Cronen Squall in DMZ: through the Battle Pass, through a friend, or through grinding another game like Modern Warfare 2.

You can unlock Cronen Squall at Sector C11 if you own the Battle Pass. An easier and cheaper method is to have one of your friends drop Cronen Squall for you in a DMZ match. If you successfully exfil with it, you’ll unlock the gun as an insured slot option. Lastly, you can unlock Cronen Squall by grinding through Modern Warfare 2 to unlock the weapon platform and Cronen Squall.

Warzone 2 DMZ: Best Cronen Squall Build, Explained

  • Optic – SZ Holotherm
  • Barrel – HR6.8 Barrel
  • Muzzle – ZLR Talon 5
  • Underbarrel – Lockgrip Precision-40
  • Magazine – 50 Round Drum

Starting with the barrel, the HR6.8 Barrel is the best option because it will add damage which is always a good thing, and lower the recoil which isn’t a problem with Cronen Squall but can be better.

The ZLR Talon 5 muzzle adds a lot more recoil control as well as a boost to range and bullet velocity. This will ensure rapid kills before you get knocked yourself. You will sacrifice handling which will make this weapon feel a bit bulkier, but it’s worth it.

Lockgrip Precision-40 adds even more recoil control and accuracy without sacrificing much else.

The 50 Round Drum magazine allows you to eliminate enemies with ease. Instead of killing two enemies, you can easily down three with this magazine.

Lastly, the SZ Holotherm is a slept-on optic that adds range and accuracy but sacrifices some ADS speed and handling. Spotting enemies and remaining on target with SZ Holotherm is easy and fun.
