Persona 5 Tactica: The best build for Ann

Persona 5 Tactica has a pretty flexible character-building system, thanks to the skill tree, sub-personas, and weapon choices, and Ann is one of the best units in the game, in my opinion. The best build for Ann in Persona 5 Tactica is a persona skill user, meaning she is using her persona for offensive (and supportive) actions during gameplay. Thanks to her party selection bonus being SP, she has an unbelievably high level of SP for you to use, and if you know how to keep that SP high, her damage output can be a little bit on the broken side. Let’s talk about the details of my Ann build in Persona 5 Tactica.

The best sub-personas

The sub-persona here isn’t really affecting all that much when it comes to Ann’s build in Persona 5 Tactica. Thanks to her getting an SP boost from being selected, and her skills being able to keep her SP pretty high, combined with the lack of elemental weaknesses in the combat of Persona 5 Tactica, the only real use you’ll have for a sub-persona is passive skills. Thankfully, there are some broken passive skills you can get. My personal favorite passive skill to use on Ann is the Invigorate skill, which gives you some SP back at the end of each turn. This only really elevates her as it means you can just keep throwing Agidynes on the field all battle long.

When I was choosing a particular stat to focus on with the sub-persona when making Ann’s build in Persona 5 Tactica, I decided to make her gun damage higher. She has an SMG as her weapon, so it can hit multiple targets at once, or one target multiple times, so I just picked a sub-persona with a good passive ability like Invigorate and decent gun damage, and it was set to go.

The best skills to get

The first category of skill you want to get for Ann’s Build in Persona 5 Tactica is everything to do with Agi, increasing it to Agidyne/Maragidyne as soon as possible, and the skill increasing damage with Agi skills. The second category is anything to do with SP. So, the skills on the right side of the skill tree, for example. This means she recovers SP at the end of every turn while in cover, and will probably recover most of what you used in that turn. You can also get the follow-up attack-related skills, too, as they’re useful. Generally focus on the right-hand side when you get the Agi skills, as later down there increases certain things that are just handy in general. Finally, her party selection buff skill, Soul Synergy, helps with the SP management across the entire party, so it’s absolutely essential to a great Ann build.
