Sargon’s weapons and gear in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown aren’t enough to defeat the many enemies that roam Mount Qaf. Luckily, our hero has supernatural abilities that can make him a deadly and dynamic fighter, and you know what, good for him. In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, those powers can enhance his ability combos.
Prince of Persia The Lost Crown: Best ability combos
In the game, you have Athra Surges which can be attacks that you can add to a combo either during one or at the end. But be aware, that you can only equip two Autha Surges at the same time. To use them, do not get hit. He also has Time Powers that are both used for platforming and combat. Unlike Athra Surges, Time Powers become equipped automatically. Both his Athra Surges and Time Powers can be used defensively and offensively. However, not all are useful during combat.

Best abilities to use
Below, I’ll show you what setup I had to make things easier for you.
- Verethragna’s Smite (Athra Surge): What I like about this attack is that you can trigger it at any point of any combo. I like using it as a finisher. Sargon leaps forward breaks any defenses, then does a killing blow. If you chain this while in a combo, you can quickly finish a fight. Plus, during boss battles, you can take a huge chunk of health away as long as you consistently attack and parry.Â
- Shahbaz’s Spirit (Athra Surge): Flying enemies are annoying, you can use your bow — but you need to be quick. Downing flying bad guys with your dual blades is an option, but needs your timing to be right. Shahbaz’s Spirit alleviates this by attacking everything above the Prince. If you opt to use air combos a lot, this attack can enhance that entire playstyle and move set where now you add on attacks and chain longer combos.
- Shadow of the Simargh (Time Power): While this power doesn’t add to a combo, it helps one from being interrupted. For this power, you can create a copy of yourself to rewind to. What I like doing during combos is jumping behind the enemy creating a copy, then in front of them and keep attacking. When the enemy attempts a nonblockable attack, rather than sliding or jumping out of the way, I can rewind time to go behind them. This allows for more follow-up attacks.
- Dimensional Claw (Time Power) This power is slowly becoming my go-to for negating attacks. When an enemy starts attacking you with a ranged move, open up a rift to trap the attack inside. Then reopen it to send it right back. You can do this to either start a combo or during one. To make things even more chaotic, you can open up a rift near an enemy and suck them in. Open it up again, and release the enemy back out launching them towards a target. It is a fun attack to use and can help you with achieving longer combos. If you plan on using this attack, my suggestion would be to use it all the time during a combat sequence. You can clear the room and give yourself space to escape or land a stronger attack. Note, that you can only have one item or person in the claw at any time.
