Beautiful Desolation hits Kickstarter – Head to the 80s in this sci-fi adventure

This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Last September we posted about Beautiful Desolation, the new game from the developers of Stasis. When the game was revealed  the mentioned they would be heading to crowdfunding at some point in the future. That campaign is now live on Kickstarter.

Beautiful Desolation is a post-apocalyptic adventure set in African landscape where a “tragic incident tears apart a brotherly bond but is also the catalyst for an epic adventure that spans from the 1980s and beyond.”

It’s a point and click adventure with a sci-fi 80s retro feel set in some fantastic looking environments. It also comes with a synth inspired soundtrack which is fitting for the era.

The team is looking to raise $120,000 over the next 24 days and they are well on their way to making it. Unlike many Kickstarters we post about at PC Invasion, the team has put together some great videos to show the cinematics, gameplay and even a feature on design. We think this one might be worth a look.
