BBC radio on demand added to Xbox Live iPlayer app

The BBC iPlayer add on Xbox Live has been updated and now gives you on demand access to a number of BBC radio stations.

Each radio station can be searched and sorted by category, with featured content pushed towards the front page.

Some of the stations available include:

·         BBC Radio 1
·         BBC 1xtra
·         BBC Radio 2
·         BBC Radio 3
·         BBC Radio 4
·         BBC Radio 5 Live
·         BBC Radio 6
·         BBC Asian Network
·         BBC World Service

The radio stations are part of a big push by Microsoft to improve access to non-gaming forms of media through the Xbox 360 dashboard. This summer has also seen the addition of the £15 Sky Movies Pass, Netflix “Just for Kids” family search filters and Blinkbox film rentals.
