Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock

Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock has a boxed version for an upgrade price

This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Remember the good old days of game boxes? Boxes that were so large you could fit a decent manual in along with something useless like a cloth map. Slitherine has now decided that their strategy title Battlestar Galactica: Deadlock should have a boxed version (see our review).

Boxes cost money to make and so owners of the digital version can get their hands on the boxed version for £12.99. Why would you do this? Well, the boxed version comes with a 52-page manual to explain what’s going on. The only problem with this is that if you’ve already started playing then it’s likely you know what everything does already. No need for a manual.

Still, if you are a collector of game boxes, or ever Battlestar Galactica stuff, this might be a nice addition to the collection. Should you be feeling a little flush, the Slitherine site has the button to push to place an order.

I miss overly large PC game boxes.
