Battlefield 3 teases some multiplayer footage

DICE have released a couple of minutes of footage from a multiplayer Battlefield 3 map called ‘Operation Metro’.
Apparently you’ll be using some kind of gunpowder-based firearms to “take down” or “kill” other players who are using similar weapons and trying to do the same to you. As a game idea, this may well catch on.
The team also seem very proud of various E3 awards that the game picked up, because they splash them all over the screen.
Battlefield 3 is scheduled to release in late October on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. That’s a couple of weeks before Modern Warfare 3, which I suspect is something those cheeky rascals are aware of.
