Batman batarangs Forza 4 from the top of the UK chart

Fifa 12 and Football Manager 2012 take second and third in what is otherwise a footie-mad top ten.
All eyes are on Batman: Arkham City this week as the Caped Crusader tops the number one spot in UK All-Format Chart, as provided by GFK/Chart-Track. The Dark Knight’s latest outing becoming the fourth biggest launch of 2011 on its way to the top of tree.
Elsehwere, it seems that the bulk of people that wanted (last week’s number one) Forza Motorsport 4 bought it on its opening week on sale, the numbers for Turn 10’s racer dropping 52% week-on-week. However, it was still enough to see it retain a place in the top five at number four.
Three of the top ten are football titles. EA’s Fifa 12 continues in strong fashion by holding on to second, new entry Football Manager 2012 takes up third (just 1,800 units behind Fifa 12) while PES 2012 continues to struggle in seventh.
Outside of the top ten, new entries Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One and Dance Central 2 could only managed 24 and 40, respectively.
UK All-Format Top Ten as follows:
01. Batman: Arkham City (Warner)
02. FIFA 12 (EA)
03. Football Manager 2012 (Sega)
04. Forza Motorsport 4 (Microsoft)
05. Just Dance 3 (Ubisoft)
06. The Sims 3: Pets (EA)
07. Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 (Konami)
08. Rage (Bethesda)
09. Zumba Fitness (505 Games)
10. Gears of War 3 (Microsoft)
