Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass detailed, pre-orderable

Batman: Arkham Knight‘s Season Pass has been detailed, and it’s available for pre-order right now if you’re so inclined.

Six months of post-launch content are planned for Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham swansong. We can expect more story missions, more super-villains, some Batmobile skins, advanced challenge maps, more character skins, and some drivable race tracks.

Of those, I’m probably most interested in the story missions and the challenge maps. The Batmobile might surprise me and I might decide that some race tracks would be smashing, but generally speaking, I’m more up for the story and the BIFF KAPOW-ing. That, and the DLC challenge maps are usually pretty good in these games.

It’s not a cheap investment, though: the Season Pass itself will cost you £32.99. If you’re certain you want it, then you could opt for the Premium Edition of the game. That contains both the Season Pass and Batman: Arkham Knight itself, and will cost £67.98. And – if I can have a brief moment of sneering PC superiority – the console Premium Edition will cost £87.98 instead, so while the PC Premium Edition is hardly inexpensive, it’s at least cheaper than that.

Batman: Arkham Knight is due out on 23 June. A shiny new trailer was released yesterday, which you can stare at by clicking this link.
