Bastion to be part of XBLA’s 2011 Summer of Arcade

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

Along with Ubisoft’s From Dust, the hand-painted landscapes of Supergiant’s Bastion will be part of Xbox LIVE Arcade’s ‘Summer of Arcade’.
Bastion has an intriguing sounding approach to narration, where the backstory will unfold according to the player’s actions. The game promises a nimble combat system that will reward “playing with finesse,” which is always nice. More than 30 areas will be there to discover, each with a kind of isometric top-down viewpoint.
From the evidence of the trailer, there also seems to be a neat system whereby individual blocks of landscape will fluidly collapse and reform in front of players as they progress.

As well as XBLA, Bastion will be coming to the PC (but at a later date, after the summer).
Enjoy how lush it looks with these E3 screenshots.
