The Banner Saga unfurls a launch trailer

Love those spherical trees.

A launch trailer for a game that’s actually coming out on the same day? What kind of sensible promotional campaign is this? If you want to read all about The Banner Saga then have a look at my review, over here. If you fancy watching a short trailer first, there’s one of those below.

It’s … ever-so-slightly misleading, in the sense that there isn’t actually (much) voice acting in the game, but the trailer kind of gives the impression that there is. You do get short voice-overs at certain destinations, but the dialogue is all just text, so these voices are for the trailer only. Everything else in it is present and correct though.

The Banner Saga is out today and features twitching beards, the cold and lovely art.
