Halfling race and subraces

The halflings of Baldur’s Gate 3 have the following racial features regardless of subrace:

  • +2 Dexterity.
  • Lucky — Whenever you roll a 1 for an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you can reroll the die and use the new result.

Lightfoot vs. Strongheart

These are the key differences between the two halfling subrace options:

Lightfoot Strongheart
+1 Charisma +1 Constitution
Naturally Stealthy – Proficiency in Stealth checks. Strongheart Resilience – Advantage on saving throws against poison; resistance against poison damage.
Base Racial Speed – 7.5m movement per turn. Base Racial Speed – 7.5m movement per turn.
