We’re just a couple of weeks away from Back 4 Blood‘s zombie-slaying shenanigans and the specs for the PC release have now been revealed. As there was a beta that I’m sure most interested folks got to try out, many of us already have a great idea as to how the game will run. This info definitely makes it clear just how easy Turtle Rock Studios has made it to run the game. I got 120 fps at 1440p on an AMD RX 5700 XT, so that’s a dead giveaway that nothing here is going to put your head in your hands.
Here are the specs straight from the game’s Steam page:
MINIMUM:
-
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10
- Processor: i5-6600 (3.3 GHz) OR AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (3.4 GHz)
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or Radeon RX 570

- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 40 GB available space
- Additional Notes: 1080p / 60fps / Low Quality Settings
RECOMMENDED:
-
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 (2.8 GHz) OR AMD Ryzen 7 1800X (3.6 GHz)
- Memory: 12 GB RAM
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon RX 590

- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 40 GB available space

Back 4 Blood system specs are quite gentle
As you can see, the recommended GPUs to get the game to run at 1080p and 60 fps are a GTX 970 or RX 590. Granted, 1080p and 60 fps isn’t exactly what most PC players are particularly after, so I don’t know why devs don’t start displaying a ridiculous setting with 4K and 120 fps or something like that. As I said, though, a 5700 XT is enough for 1440p at 120 fps, so running the game in great quality and a high framerate is still super doable no matter what. We’ll have more on Back for Blood as soon as we can.
