Baby name ideas: name he/she after Skyrim

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

Prepare for a fiery childhood little man.
Kids have a hard enough time growing up these days. They’ve got to put up with puberty, Adam Sandler movies and Simon Cowell. Some, it seems, have it worse than others. Much worse.
Megan and Eric Kellermeyer are the idiots that have named their newborn son Dovahkiin Tom Kellermeyer. Dovahkiin means ‘Dragonborn’ in the dragon language of Skyrim. In the world of conjuration spells, minor healing potions and the Greybeards that might be pretty cool. However, in the real world of gang wars, firework fights and happy slapping that’s a name liable to get you beaten up in a hurry.
This all goes back to a ‘competition’ started by Bethesda who said that a lifetime supply of their games would go to the couple that named their kid Dovahkiin. Whether or not the contest was serious at all or not is still in doubt, however Bethesda have made good on the deal.
“Be it the real world or the game worlds we create, we wish young Dovahkiin the best in all his adventures,” said Bethesda in a message of congratulations.
If you could name your children after something in Skyrim what would it be? Skeever? Frost Troll? Whiterun Guard? Fox pelt?
