It may be old but at least the Aussie can now enjoy it in its full glory.

Left 4 Dead 2 is now available in Australia in its uncensored form and is available to gamers age 18+ via Steam. Gamers who have a censored copy can now update to the uncensored version. To celebrate the news  L4D2 is on sale for 75% off its regular price which works out at £3.74 if you’re in the UK. Chances are you have this already but if you don’t at least it’s cheap.

Left 4 Dead 2 was censored by Valve for with the the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification guidelines which were a little more strict back in 2010. This was prior to the Aussies getting their own R18+ classification last year.

As Australia has moved on, Valve resubmitted the game for classification and it passed thanks to the new rating system.

Now everyone down under can enjoy the gore and feel good about it.
