ASUS ROG Bezel-free kit bends light to disguise the edges with three monitors

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Having a three monitor setup is fantastic but there’s always the really annoying problem of seeing the edges of each monitor. ASUS appears to have cracked the problem with cunning light-bending trickery and the ASUS ROG Bezel-free kit.

The ROG Bezel-free kit is simple, it is two attachments that sit between the left and right monitors with light-bending lenses which refract the light at 130 degrees to hide the edges of the monitors.

The good news is the kit is expected to ship in the first part of 2018 and it will work on non-Asus monitors if they have a thin-bezel design. With no requirement for power or any software, this looks like quite an elegant solution.

Not many gamers will have a three monitor setup but if this works as well as they are suggesting, then it might be worth looking into. The visible edges always made the idea of three monitors slightly less attractive.
