Ubisoft has increased the size of Assassin’s Creed 2’s development team by about 300 people.
Producer Sebastien Puel told Nowgamer the “team’s size for the second title of Assassin’s Creed 2 is about three times the size of the team of the first game,” and they are “keeping most of the core members who envisioned the first Assassin’s Creed. They know the project very well.”Puel estimates that 75% of the original team is still on board.
Puel also pointed out that the team aims to improve a lot of flaws in the original, and said the developers had “thousands of ideas” they didn’t implement in the first game, which will now be implemented in Assassin’s Creed 2. That’s not the first time we’ve heard this, with Ubisoft promising similar in a previous press release.
A little bit more information about the game was released last month, and more will come at E3 in a few weeks.
