Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Crossover Story guide: How to get the Hero’s Sword in the Isle of Skye
The Hero’s Sword in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla can be found in Duntulm Camp. It’s at the northernmost section of the entire map.
Note: You won’t visit this location during any main quest. However, the Counting Sheep quest leads you to Hungladder which is just a couple hundred meters to the south.
In any case, the weapon itself is inside a ruined tower next to a hut. There’s a wooden door behind the tower that allows you to get inside while enemies have their backs turned.
However, you do need to pick up a couple of keys. The first key is held by a Goliath in a hut that’s further off to the side.
The second key is down by the shoreline. It’s on a desk inside a red tent. You can use the zipline behind the tower to quickly reach that spot.
Once you have both keys, you’ll be able to open the chest to obtain the weapon. The Hero’s Sword in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has mythical rarity by default. Likewise, it has the following perk: Increased assassination damage and stealth damage when equipped.
Sure, it does have a very generic-sounding name, but it’s also a weapon wielded by Kassandra in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Still, certain settings like Guaranteed Assassinations and skills like Advanced Assassination make the perk moot. Anyway, don’t forget to pick up the Spear of Leonidas and Isle of Skye Treasure Hoard Map while you’re exploring.
