Assassin’s Creed 2: More Pre-Orders Than First Game

According to an industry analyst pre-orders for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed 2 have already exceeded those for the first game. According to Janco Partners’ analyst Mike Hickey Assassin’s Creed 2 is part of “a strong stable of owned and internally developed franchises,” and its sales will help drive a slight year-over-year revenue increase in the third fiscal quarter.Hickey also revealed to GamaSutra that he expects Ubi to place more emphasis on MMO gaming in 2010.IncGamers’ Tamer Asfahani recently got hands on with the highly-anticipated sequel, check out the preview here.
