Currently, you can purchase and enjoy Armored Core 6 on a variety of platforms, including PC and even consoles from the previous generation like the PS4. This wide availability will certainly benefit consumers who wish to experience such a critically acclaimed title. But while its $60 USD price tag certainly makes for a lower barrier to entry compared to the various $70 games that have surfaced recently, it still may prove a bit too steep for some, at least for the time being. Having Armored Core 6 on the ever-so-affordable Game Pass service would certainly help alleviate that issue for many, but is the game even available on it?
Is Armored Core 6 playable on Game Pass?
Unfortunately, Game Pass does not include Armored Core 6 in its extensive library of games, at least for now. Not only that, but the game doesn’t have a demo either, so there exists no current way for players to sample the experience. No matter what, players will have to spend money to try out Armored Core 6, or at least borrow it from a friend or relative.
So far, both FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have yet to reveal if they plan on bringing Armored Core 6 over to Game Pass at any point in the future, and they haven’t said anything about a potential demo either. It wouldn’t come as an unprecedented move for Armored Core 6 to receive a demo since Elden Ring had one before its release. But considering Armored Core 6 has already dropped onto store shelves, Bandai Namco and FromSoftware may not feel the need to put out a demo after the fact.
Although an Armored Core 6 demo remains a possibility, I very much wouldn’t expect a Game Pass release at this stage. FromSoftware games have never made it to Game Pass previously, so it appears quite unlikely that the studio will change the current status quo with its newest title.
