Good news for Call of Duty fans, especially zombie fans! With the latest patch update rolled out by Infinity Ward, dataminers have been able to discover more Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War details. In Verdansk, there will be a zombies battle royale game mode released in the future, and that won’t be all.
The description of the mode reads the following, “players turn into Zombies on death, but can become human again by consuming fallen player’s hearts.” A mode like this has never before been seen in Call of Duty: Warzone. The ability for players to turn into zombies and back to humans will definitely provide a fun and unique experience. However, it is unknown how many times players will be able to turn back to humans once they become zombies. In addition, it is unknown if the gulag will play a part in this game mode. The objective for fallen players appears to be to collect human hearts.
Warzone modes, multiplayer modes, and even more modes!
It is unknown when this mode will go live in Call of Duty: Warzone. As well as this, data-miners uncovered the names of other game modes. These apply to both multiplayer and battle royale. The new modes for Warzone include pandemic/outbreak, armored cargo/truck wars, and plunder: fire sale. Moreover the leak suggests a possible night mode will be coming to Verdansk. This would not be a surprise as night vision maps have featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare before. In terms of multiplayer, a shiptember and shootmember has been leaked. This would make the fan favorite playlist “Shipment and Shoothouse” be available for the whole of September.
Without any confirmation from Activision, it can not be confirmed if these game modes will be arriving to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. It will be interesting to see what else is in store for Call of Duty: Warzone as it transitions to the theme of the next title.
