Are you trying to connect to the MW3 Warzone servers, but they seem to be down? It can be uncertain whether or not it’s just your internet, or it’s the same for everyone.
If you’re trying to figure out whether the Warzone servers are up and running, we can help you out. Here are some resources to check out.
MW3 Warzone: Are the servers down?
Downdetector
One of the most reliable sites for figuring out if other players are experiencing connection issues is Downdetector. By looking at the Call of Duty page, you can get insight into how many players are reporting server issues.
This is the perfect time for you to report your issues as well, so you can aid other players looking at this site. It’ll not only show you a graph from the last 24 hours but a live outage map as well.

Activision Support on Twitter/X
Another great place to check out when experiencing server issues is the Activision Support Twitter/X account. It’s a good resource for up-to-date posts from the support team who can announce server issues and answer your questions.
As I’m writing this, just a few hours ago the account was posting about matchmaking and connection issues with Warzone. You can instantly figure out what’s going on and if the problem is being worked on.
Activision Online Services
This Activision Online Services website is also a good source for checking whether the Warzone servers are online or not. Right at the top of the page, you can see a green checkmark indicating the servers are online. If you don’t see this, it means it’s having issues.
Further below, you can read up on connection tips. There’s also an area to check the server status of your specific network. If you’re playing on PlayStation, Xbox, or PC, you can check your preferred network and see what’s going on with those servers.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is available on Steam, Battle.net, PlayStation, and Xbox.
