Are there cheats for Monopoly GO?

Dastardly tactics.

Rainy evenings in or long trips away with the family will always be associated with board games for me. Whenever we were all together, and there were a few hours to spare, out would come one of the classics. Some were fantastic and would result in hours of fun, but others, like Risk or the dreaded Monopoly, would cause rifts that could end up lasting years. Now, with the release of the highly successful Monopoly Go, the torment has begun again, and I find myself searching for a way to get ahead with some kind of cheat, just like in the old days.

Unlike the board game, Monopoly Go has no way of cheating. You can’t take a few bucks from your neighbor’s pile when they take a bathroom break. You can’t nudge the board to move a few houses to your squares. Also, throwing a tantrum and flipping the board no longer works. Not that I ever used to do any of these, I promise.

However, if you’re searching for cheats in Monopoly Go, you will undoubtedly find a few videos and blogs advertising them. You may see headlines like “1000 free rolls in Monopoly Go”. Beware of these videos and posts. Most of them will have you download a secondary app that will require your details for the game and then harvest all your details. Keep safe online, folks; Monopoly Go isn’t worth losing your online identity for, even if you do want to cheat.

Monopoly has always been a game of chance, tactics, patience, and the unstoppable rise of capitalism. Monopoly Go is no different. If you want to get good at it and experience the game the way it is supposed to be played, you will have just to get good and be patient. A few extra rolls aren’t worth your online identity.
