Months after launching the Internet Arcade, Archive.Org has now launched an MS-DOS library of games you can play in browser.

It’s still not clear that this hosting for free play is legal or allowed by the copyright holders, but for what it’s worth, it’s library of 2,000+ games includes some very good games, including Bubble Bobble, Total Carnage, the original Castle Wolfenstein, The Lost Vikings, even Donkey Kong, which they have bravely credited to Ikegami Tsushinki (You can learn more about this situation here.)
We don’t know how long these games will stay up on Archive.Org, but for now, you can check out these games here.
