Apex Legends: Post Malone’s Three Strikes LTM, explained

Since Post Malone is such a huge fan of Apex Legends, Respawn and him collaborated to introduce a new LTM Three Strikes. But what is this mode, and what else is arriving with it? Here’s everything we know about the Three Strikes LTM and other Post Malone content like cosmetics.

For two weeks of adrenaline-filled mayhem, Three Strikes is a chaotic LTM that allows you and your team more than one chance at winning a game. If your squad falls, you don’t get sent back to the main menu. Instead, you respawn again for another try. Just as the name implies, you have three strikes until you’re truly out for good.

So technically you can only die two times before you die for good, giving you second chances at winning the game. This’ll encourage you and your team to take risks like never before. Also, once you’re downed but not dead, enemies can’t damage you, and reviving teammates is much faster.

You can see now why Post Malone said it would be mayhem. As someone who had experience playing this mode, it truly is chaotic, especially in the late-game.

But what else is coming with this Apex Legends X Post Malone crossover? Well, new cosmetics are arriving that Post Malone himself helped work on. These are skins that are still in the Apex Legends style, but they also incorporate looks from Post Malone’s shows and videos.

Any big Post Malone fan should recognize some of these looks. The Three Strikes LTM will release on November 7 for all Apex Legends players.
