With the release of Season 19, Apex Legends is finally releasing Cross Progression, but how are you supposed to merge your accounts?
This is a mandatory action all Apex players must do. So if you have multiple Apex Legends accounts, here’s how you can merge them.
How Cross Progression and merging accounts works in Apex Legends
At the time of writing this, I’ve yet to be able to merge my accounts. This is simply because Respawn is slowly rolling out this feature to all player accounts today on October 31. In this helpful blog post about Cross Progression, we can tell you exactly how to merge your accounts in Apex Legends.
Now that Season 19 is out, all Apex players should expect to see an in-game prompt that will initiate your account merging and migration. Here are some important details:
- Your Cross Progression data will be associated with your EA account.
- All your account content will merge into one.
- Certain aspects like Crafting Materials and Apex Coins may be impacted differently.
- Anyone who doesn’t log into Apex Legends during this migration period will automatically get their account migrated at a later date.
- If you created an account after October 26 for the same EA account, you won’t be eligible for an account merge.

- PlayStation: PS+ Pack items
- Xbox: Xbox Founder’s Edition, Xbox Gold items
- Nintendo: P.A.T.H. Legendary Skin
