Apex Legends Evolution Event Rampart Cleanup Crew Skin

Here’s how to get all the Apex Legends Evolution event skins

You'll need to play, complete challenges, and pull out your wallet for all the available cosmetics

The latest event for Apex Legends is underway. It’s been a slow start with players experiencing connection issues. However, once that’s out of the way, you’ve got loads of cosmetic items to gather. The Apex Legends Evolution collection event isn’t just about gathering skins though. It also coincides with a major patch that adds a Town Takeover for Rampart, puts a fun spin on Arenas mode, and tinkers with the balance of a few Legends and weapons.

In this guide, we’re all about those cosmetic items. There are a bunch of free ones that can be earned through the event’s rewards track. Also, there are a bunch you will need to pay for. Let’s take a look at both the free, and the paid items.

All about the freebies

My main focus in these events is always the items I can earn for free. You’ll get your first freebie as soon as you load into the event for the first time, with the Evolution Music Pack. This one isn’t the most exciting item in the event, but it’s something. The good stuff, including a couple of Legendary skins, are in the Apex Legends Evolution event rewards track.

There are 16 items in total to be earned in the rewards track. You can get 12 of them using earnt event points from completing the event challenges. On day one, you can earn 900 points. You should be able to earn about that each day that the event is running. So, it’ll take you roughly six days of playing to reach 5,000 points, unlocking all 12 items. The three main cosmetics you’ll want to get are the epic Lifeline Cold Compress skin, the legendary Triple Take Prime Precision skin, and the Final Form legendary Wingman skin.

The other four items you can earn during the Apex Legends Evolution collection are not in-game cosmetics. They’re event badges. The Evolution Destruction badge can be earned by dealing 10,000 damage in Battle Royale mode during the event. If you deal 25,000 damage in Arenas during the event, you’ll get the Evolution Champion Badge. You’ll need to knock down 100 players in Battle Royale to get the Evolution Demolisher badge. Finally, completing all three of those challenges will earn you the Evolution Master badge.

You get what you pay for

There are some great free cosmetic items you can acquire as part of the Apex Legends Evolution collection. However, the best ones are always in the paid section. Wraith, Rampart, and Lifeline all have beautiful cyberpunk skins. There are also some of the best weapon skins I’ve seen in-game yet. The Master Blaster Mastiff skin, Ethereal Expectations Sentinel Skin, and the Aqua Flow Flatline skin are my top picks. You can check out some of the weapon skins in the tweet clip below.

To get these beauties, you’ll need to purchase Evolution Packs at 700 Apex Coins per loot box. As usual, there are 24 cosmetics to pick up. If you buy them all, you will automatically get the new Rampart Heirloom, the wonderfully named Problem Solver.

There are no free packs this time around, unfortunately. But, there are some decently priced bundles that will soften the blow of purchasing the cosmetics.

As of writing, you have 12 days left to complete the event rewards track and purchase all the items you want. That’s until September 27, so you have plenty of time to earn the Apex Legends Evolution event skins.
